Temporary Trail Closure for Repair Project Begins September 21, 2024.
Beginning September 21, 2024, portions of the Presidential Trail will be closed for repairs. The work is expected to last through November 30, 2024. Signs will be posted indicating closed sections. Please ask a park ranger for current trail information.

Highway Construction Impacting Travel to the Memorial
Numerous highway construction projects are occurring in the Black Hills and may impact trip planning to the Memorial. Please consult with South Dakota 511 to minimize delays or other inconveniences.
